We are currently looking for an Insurance Accountant (M/F) based in Oporto

BE PART OF OUR ACCOUNTING TEAM

Accounting department, dedicated to insurance accounting of BNP Paribas Cardif's financial department, whose main missions are to be responsible for insurance accounting data in multi-standards as well as guarantor of fair taxation. As a technical accountant, you will be in charge of several missions whose main objective is to guarantee accounting data in FGAAP and IFRS.

YOUR FUTURE MISSION in ACCOUNTING TEAM

In a Day to day activity:

    Audit trail formalization and documentation
    Ensure exchanges with contributors and stakeholders to obtain input
    Perform analyses and report conclusions
    Propose changes and monitor their implementation

Quarterly closing in local Gaap and IFRS

    Review the quality data
    Analyses and control of different type of account
    Participate to Analytical Review

Various projects that animate the management

    Contribute to the reflections and operational implementation. You will place the needs of the department at the heart of the exchanges.


AS OUR NEW INSURANCE ACCOUNTANT, YOU MUST HAVE:

    Master Degree in accounting / finance / audit
    Professional background about 3/5 years in a equivalent position (preferably insurance company)
    Be fluent in French: if French is an non-spoken language an English C1 level is mandatory
    Good accounting, insurance and IFRS standards knowledge
    Accounting tools (SAP, Oracle, CODA…)
    Office tools (excel, word, PowerPoint)
    Data tools (SAS, Python…)
